The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has issued a storm and thunderstorm warning for Mymensingh and Sylhet regions, forecasting winds of up to 60 km/h by Tuesday noon.
According to a 6-hour forecast signed by meteorologist Kh. Hafizur Rahman, strong westerly or northwesterly winds at 45-60 km/h may sweep across these regions, accompanied by rain or thunderstorms.
A Level-1 cautionary signal has been advised for affected areas.
Meanwhile, the general weather outlook for the country remains mostly dry, except for isolated rain or thunderstorms in parts of the Sylhet Division.
