Successful tournament concludes at Annex Chess Club

The Annex Chess Club recently hosted a successful three-day, six-round tournament from August 30 to September 1, 2025.

The event was organized under the guidance of Club Manager Keith Denning and the Director of the 2025 Toronto Open. Several members of the Canadian Federation of Chess (CFC) participated, including Imran Sharif, Pino, and Shafkat Ali, along with other strong players.

The tournament featured tough and competitive games, yet players expressed their happiness with the overall experience. The event has been hailed as a great success, showcasing both talent and sportsmanship.

Club Manager Keith Denning has expressed optimism about the future, noting that the Annex Chess Club is committed to hosting even more exciting and high-quality tournaments in the coming years.
