Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka has become a sea of people as citizens from across the country gather for the ‘March for Gaza’ to protest Israeli atrocities in Palestine. Though the grand rally is scheduled for 3 PM, crowds began arriving from early morning, many carrying Palestinian flags, wearing themed T-shirts and headbands, and chanting slogans in solidarity.

Mass processions began at 2 PM from five key city points: Banglamotor, Kakrail, Zero Point, Bakshibazar, and Nilkhet, heading toward the venue. The event has drawn participation from a wide range of political parties, Islamic organizations, celebrities, and ordinary citizens.

Security has been tightened across all five entry routes, with police and army personnel conducting checks. Organizers from the Palestine Solidarity Movement Bangladesh say this is the first time people of all political and social backgrounds are uniting to stand with Palestine.
