BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has alleged that the party is once again being subjected to a media trial, similar to the events of 1/11.
Speaking virtually from London on Monday (March 17) during an iftar gathering, Tarique Rahman claimed that a vested quarter is conspiring against BNP and the ideology of Bangladeshi nationalism.
The event was organized at Hotel Lakeshore in Banani to mark the 10th anniversary of Zia Cyber Force, where online activists gathered for iftar. Addressing them, Rahman said fabricated allegations are being made against BNP, reminiscent of the political crisis of 1/11.
Liberty News’ political correspondent states that he emphasized the need to establish a government accountable to the people and urged everyone to unite, setting aside differences, to overcome future challenges.
