Three dismembered bodies of women and child found in sack

Police have recovered the dismembered bodies of two women and a child, stuffed in sacks, from the bank of a pond in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj. The gruesome discovery has sparked panic and shock among locals.

On Friday (April 10), police recovered three sack-wrapped bodies from the bank of a pond in the West Mizmiji area of Siddhirganj, Narayanganj. The victims have been identified as two women, Lamia & Swapna, and a child named Habib.

According to Siddhirganj police, locals noticed a foul smell in the area and found the suspicious sacks near the pond. They immediately informed the authorities. Upon arrival, police opened the sacks and discovered the mutilated remains.

Eyewitnesses said the smell had been spreading since morning, prompting residents to search the area, leading to the horrifying find.

Police officials stated that the time and motive of the killings are still unknown. The bodies have been sent to the Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Siddhirganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) said, “This is a horrific incident. We are taking it very seriously and have already started the investigation. We are looking into whether the victims were involved in any prior disputes or if family conflicts played a role.”

Liberty News’ crime correspondent states that no suspects have been arrested so far. Law enforcement agencies are working to uncover the full details. Locals are urging swift action and justice for the victims.
