Two members of the Kuki Chin National Army (KNA), including a commander, were killed in a military operation conducted by the Bangladesh Army in the remote hilly areas of Ruma Upazila in Bandarban.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) disclosed the information in a press release issued on Thursday morning.
According to the ISPR, the army recovered three submachine guns (SMGs), one rifle, and a cache of other weapons and ammunition from the scene.
The release added that the army’s operation in the area was still ongoing at the time of the announcement.
