United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres will undertake an official visit to Bangladesh from 13-16 March 2025.
His office has confirmed the matter in a release received Wednesday (February 26)
Liberty News’ diplomatic correspondent reports that the visit follows an invitation from the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh, Dr Muhammad Yunus, which was handed over by Dr Khalilur Rahman, High Representative of the Chief Adviser on the Rohingya Issue and Priority Matters, during his meeting with the Secretary-General on 7 February 2025 in New York.
